Adjacent to the municipio you will find to the North the municipios of Chiquilistlán and Atemajac de Brizuela; East are the municipios of Techaluta de Montenegro, Amacueca and Sayula; South are Sayula, San Gabriel and Tonaya; to the west the municipios of Tonaya and Chiquilistlán.
